Η γκαλερί του Black Duck υποδέχεται τον Régis Looten και την έκθεση ζωγραφικής «Άγριο Σιτάρι». Από τις 31 Ιανουαρίου μέχρι τις 11 Φεβρουαρίου 2017, θα περιπλανηθούμε σε έναν κόσμο αντιθέσεων, όπως η ίδια η ζωή.
Ο Régis Looten είναι ένας δυναμικός καλλιτέχνης, για τον οποίο ο καμβάς συμβολίζει την αναστολή της καταδίκης του παραλογισμού της ζωής. Η δουλειά του είναι μια σύγχρονη μορφή εξπρεσιονισμού που εξετάζει τα φωτεινά όρια της ζωής με αφαιρετική ματιά.
Οι ελαιογραφίες που παρουσιάζονται στην γκαλερί του Black Duck είναι σπάνια δείγματα της δουλειάς του, μιας και έχει δημιουργήσει περιορισμένο αριθμό ελαιογραφιών μικρού μεγέθους. Τα σχήματα είναι τραχιά και τα χρώματα «μιλούν» δυνατά τη δική τους γλώσσα. Γνωστός στο φιλότεχνο αθηναϊκό κοινό, έπειτα από 5 εκθέσεις στην πόλη μας, αποκαλύπτει στην γκαλερί του Black Duck νέες πτυχές της δουλειάς του.
Παρατηρώντας την έκθεση «Άγριο Σιτάρι», οι επισκέπτες θα συνειδητοποιήσουν την καλλιτεχνική ωριμότητα του Regis Looten. Το κοινό θα διακρίνει ότι πίσω από την απότομη έκφραση, η δουλειά του επικοινωνεί την καθολική αγάπη.
Τα έργα του Regis Looten είναι οικονομικά προσιτά, διότι σύμφωνα με την φιλοσοφία του, η τέχνη είναι μέσο έκφρασης συναισθημάτων για όλους και όχι προϊόν για λίγους.

Régis Looten est résolument un tendre sauvage. Peintre obstiné pour qui chaque toile est un sursis dans l’absurde du vivant, son œuvre est une forme contemporaine d’expressionisme explorant les frontières lumineuses avec le figuratif et l’abstrait.
Les peintures à l’huile présentées à la galerie Black Duck Multiparte sont des échantillons rares de l’œuvre du peintre dont les petits formats à l’huile sont peu nombreux. La forme est brute, les couleurs parlent à haute voix. Maintenant familier des galeries Athéniennes, Régis Looten présente pour sa sixième exposition dans la capitale quelques pépites, jamais exposées. On trouvera bon nombres d’œuvres volontairement rendues financièrement accessibles car pour Looten, la peinture est aussi le média des émotions et du partage et certainement pas un produit culturel pour les élites, mais à destination de tous.
Le visiteur pourra se rendre compte que le travail de Looten est désormais l’expression de la maturité, sans complaisance et tourné vers la lumière. On peut se rendre compte que derrière la touche abrupte, la gifle des rouges et des bleus, se cache, à peine, une déclaration d’amour universelle de cet écorché généreux.

Now familiar to the Athenian galleries, Regis Looten presents for his sixth exhibition in the capital some nuggets, never exhibited.
Many works are voluntarily made financially accessible, because for Looten, painting is also the medium of emotions and sharing and certainly not a cultural product for the elites, but for everyone.
